Is the Health Insurance provided by your employer sufficient ?

Many of the employers provide Group Health Insurance to their employees. Whenever an employees joins an organisation, the company offers him or her a Group Health Cover which was already running for quite some time. As such, there is a little chance that the new joinees are made aware of all the provisions and facilities available under the plan.

Most of the plans have sub-limits, wherein there is a capping on room rent, ICU charges and on certain surgeries and day care procedures.Many a times, it is observed that the cover is inadequate for the family members and for the extended family.

As such, it is always advisable to buy a separate Family floater Health Insurance Plan covering all the members of the family, parents and in-laws for adequate sum insured.
